Enjoyed it very much. You can go to archive.org and watch the extended, unedited video interviews, which I did for a few people I thought were particularly interesting.

We just got our copy of Nintendo's new blockbuster, "Splatoon."

I'm liking it. Great-looking graphics, smooth gameplay, very snappy multiplayer.
And the game concept is just a whole lot of good clean fun. Definitely a title to own.

I hereby declare CoD obsolete.

I tried "AdVenture (sic) Capitalist", the game is one of those games that requires no interaction.
Somewhere I
read
it was an "idle" game, which means there is very little interaction.

Here is the premise, you buy a lemonade stand. You press the lemon icon, each time you do you earn money.
There is a timer, you can only press the icon ever x number of seconds. After a few presses you earn enough
money so you can hire a manager that automatically presses the button for you. When you earn enough money you
can buy other businesses that are more expensive and earn you more money. Again you have to repeat the
processes of hitting the icon, waiting, and then eventually hiring a manager.
If you want you can buy multiple "locations" of the same business and the same manager will run them all, you
just enjoy the profits. Oddly enough the more of any one type of business you buy the
more expensive it is.
The 10th lemonade stand is probably 1.2 times as expensive as the first, the 100th lemonade stand is 12 times as
expensive and it increases quickly. You get bonuses along the way, buy 100 of a business and profits increase
twice as fast. However that is it. Once you buy something, and hire a manager there is no interaction for you,
you just wait until you can afford to buy another business, or another location, which gets very expensive.

Very boring. However I started thinking it was a way to get you to watch ads. You can double your profits for
four hours each time you watch an ad. The name of the game is AdVenture (sic) Capitalist. Check in every few
hours to see how your profits and doing, watch an ad. Clever. Each time you watched an ad it said "advertising
is the lifeblood of capitalism" However most of the time pressing, "Watch an ad" would result in, "We are fresh
out of ads, sorry for the inconvenience. (dandy!)"

Dull "game"

It barely sounds like a game at all, actually. And if you want to play lemonade stand on a computer, it's hard to beat the 1973 classic "Lemonade Stand" or its 1979 Apple II port with those awesome 40x40 resulution graphics. Yum.

I was looking through the games, there are a lot of these idle games. SimCity could be described as an idle
game. You start a small city and watch it grow. Interact every now and then.

I don't think that is phone worthy. When I play a game on my phone it is because I am bored somewhere and need
something to do to waste time. I don't think the game runs in the background, it just calculates the profits
when you start the game.

Still dull, snake was a lot more fun.

about to pull the trigger on something like a nvidia 970, mainly because of witcher 2/3 (which are a lot heavier than Skyrim etc used to be)

gonna need a new power supply, too... seems the cottage industry of "hardware review" websites has colluded with manufacturer recommendations to really convince everyone to over-engineer their PSU builds. You don't need 500W to run a 970, folks. Even a Titan X has been measured pulling just 400W *at the wall*, at full load.

The folks at Mojang had the best idea ever in Minecraft -- "Creative Mode."
Sometimes you don't want a challenge; you're just looking for a set of tinkertoys to have fun building stuff with. I always wished that SimCity had creative mode. (And it's been so long since I've played SimCity, that some young whippersnapper is now going to tell me that they've implemented it sometime in the last ten years.)

Ah. Ok. A bit of Googling and I see that SimCity *does* have creative mode, but they call it "Sandbox Mode."

So I'd love to get my hands on a recent version of SimCity. **ahem**

I played Minecraft pretty heavily, and have over 100 videos at about 10 minutes each of my adventures up on Youtube.

I'm fairly certain I am not 12 years old, nor am I a brony, although I bear no ill will to either.
