Oh, it's so great! Every second youtube link you guys are posting here links to one of the following messages (roughly translated from german):
1) Unfortunately this video is in germany not available, as it may contain music for which the GEMA hasn't granted the necessary rights."
2) This video contains content from <whoever>. It is not available in your country."
So much about "world wide web".
You're right about that. I got an email from YouTube a couple of years ago
when I uploaded a video taken at a wedding of a bunch of very small children
dancing. It said that my video will not play in Germany because of the licensing
of the song that was playing in the background.

That kind of thing is quite annoying.
Freaking 'rights' management...
restriction.
well, gema sucks badass, allways been that way. at least now they blame them directly instead of Sony music etc.

You need a world wide proxy.

Freaking 'rights' management...
Yeah. Go ahead and check out my video:

...and tell me whether the audio portion of the clip is anywhere close to being a threat to someone's "digital rights"
Ugh... the audio is so bad, that idea that this is in any way a threat is completely absurd.
Tinny, bad speakers from a distance...

Because I know you all are dying to know this ...
In the current incarnation of the Scooby-Doo cartoons ("Mystery Incorporated" currently airing on Cartoon Network, including their on-demand library if your television service has one), Norville "Shaggy" Rogers is no longer a vegetarian.
A number of years ago, Kemal Amin "Casey" Kasem became a vegetarian and insisted that Shaggy be portrayed as a vegetarian as well, actually walking out on a Burger King commercial that was to feature Shaggy and Scooby. (Kasem had been the voice of Shaggy since the very beginning of the show in 1969.) The show's producers reluctantly complied.
Evidently they've had enough, and Shaggy is now voiced by Scott Innes, who also played Shaggy in the live-action movies. I had suspected something like this happened, because in the opening of the new show, Shaggy is depicted with an entire screenful of hamburgers.
(Yes that's right folks, here at the Mouse House we are *all* Scooby-Doo fans.)

It's a pretty good show. Though seeing updated stuff like Velma and Shaggy
having a romantic past is weird.. I like how there's an arc running through
it though.
It's good that they've gone back to "and I would have gotten away with it
too, if it weren't for you meddling kids." I really did not like the "the
monsters are real" phase.
A basic theme must be that there are no real monsters. That it's always someone
with a plan/plot.. IT's what made the show accessible to little kids. Nothing
to really be afraid of.

I'm surprised that I never really got that Mr. Roger's Make Believe Neighborhood had a king whose full name was King Friday XIII (and that the name alluded to his general bad luck).
Somehow, that just makes the show that much more awesome.
Now we really need CItadel to integrate with Google+

I think the low point was probably "Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost." Not only were the monsters/ghosts absolutely real, but the storyline was *very* heavy on the occult. [A[A
So, I assume y'all are keeping up with "Jersey Shore" again this year, right?
<bletch>
I'm glad they went *offshore* this year. Seaside Heights is right next to where my family goes on vacation every year (we go to Seaside Park, a quieter community a few miles away) and the last thing I need is to run into Snookie or Teh Situation or whatever other guidos they've got shacked up in there.
Funny ism of the day! [ http://tinyurl.com/3gtc7tt
] Abercrombie and Fitch wants to pay the cast of "Jersey Shore" to *NOT* wear their clothes!
