Cheesy for adults, but this looks pretty good for kids just getting into the internet:

Basically, some reasonably good, common-sense rules for working with the internet safely.

Oh noes! That video teaches kids that it's ok to use Comic Sans!

Rules of taste will need to be discussed elsewhere, obviously.

I'm happy to say we are expecting a new Sofer to join our family this coming fall.

I'm 10 years older than I was when I had the twins, and I have to say, I feel it. It's probably nothing that some proper regular exercise wouldn't fix, but I just don't find time to do it. I'm still continuing my karate classes but it's not enough.

We all want a girl to name after my mom, especially my dad who told me he dreamt it was a girl. Only Akiva said he absolutely only wants a boy.

There was this guy who collects money for his yeshiva who seems to make accurate guesses more often than not who told my husband last year that "within a year you'll have a mazal tov". (I've seen him wish people that their business should be successful or that they should find their soul mate soon that afterwards they wanted to know how he knew they had just started a new business or were still single. We still haven't yet figured out how he knows) Two months after he said that, I got pregnant. When my husband saw him again at the local supermarket he cornered him and asked for a bracha (a blessing, since the guy is a Rabbi) so he gave us one and said he thinks it's a girl.

Everyone else thinks it's a boy, from the way I'm carrying, from the fact I get frequent leg cramps, from how very active the baby is, etc.

I did ask the doctor to tell me and she told me what she saw, but I'm not saying, I figure to let everyone guess and anyway they sometimes make mistakes.

I've already assured everyone that it's definitely going to be a girl or a boy.

We're thinking of name possiblities and looking for a bigger home to live in.

At least we have built-in babysitters now. Shlomo already said he wants to babysit for free whenever I want to go out, even if I want to go away for a weekend, and Akiva said he'd babysit but for money and only for a little bit at a time. And no diapers.

That's what you get for wanting a girly girl. They do those things.

She wants to wear a white dress, possibly even her mother's wedding dress if possible. The bridesmaids will be wearing pink dresses, and her mother will be wearing a blue dress.

She told me that I'm definitely invited to the wedding.

Don't let your kid become an actress or an actor.  At least not until they're old enough.

technical bike training.

standing up while cycling, riding with one hand off, breaking with the vbrakes without skidding, and sprint training with proper shifting.

the only thing we didn't get done is getting off without sitting, so the seat post could have been raised to a propper heeight...

This is interesting

According to this study, the children of "extra-affectionate" mothers become more well-adjusted adults. (And I'm going to generalize it out and change it to all parents, not just mothers. 'cuz I'm just crazy about my kids.)
