heh, my mom had about the same opinions to reject DSL (after I moved out...) because of she was awaiting the extra cost...
now that my dads overview of the screen content declines, they arive. he got trapped twice by those typical online forgeries like downloads.com, and once managed to _sell_ something on amazon he intended to buy. wtf?
When we got our first computer, my mom learned just enough that she actually understood what my siblings were doing (I wasn't in kindergarten yet when we got our first computer.)
On the other hand, my parents kept the computer in their room for the first couple of years. I think they were worried that my brother might not sleep if it was available all night. Some things never change :)
Gads... I last logged in on the 9th?
I'm working too much.
