"Zelenskyy demands Western support" bla bla bla.

Who the hell does think he is?

NATO better not let them join when this ( corrupt ) idiot is around...  Get rid of him, THEN discuss Ukraine membership.

Orwell is spinning even faster in his grave about now.

"Every new EU car now needs a camera that watches the driver "      next step. no grandfathering.  Then no human driven cars. Unless you are in the club of course.

Not 100% politics, but related enough.  And for the record i'm NOT trying to start a "judgment discussion" or anything, and this is purely about process, but i'm confused.

Congress passed a law, it goes into effect at midnight. but Trump is not going to sign it. ( and so far, said he wouldn't veto either ) I thought unless they passed it under 'veto rules' which of course overrules the president's decision,  the sitting president had to sign in all laws for them to take effect.

Pretty sure hes dead or 'technically alive' in a coma or something, waiting for the plug to be pulled..  I think this has to do with timing.  If he dies too early  then a special session is called and the party risks losing the seat.  If he dies after a certain date, they just go without and have a normal election cycle.

At least that is my guess now that i heard about the 'timing' thing.  Hes a career politician, everything they do is suspect.

What's the deal with Mitch McConnell?  No proof that he's still alive, but they're claiming he's still alive.

That communist socialist America-hating RINO needs to be given extra turtle poison if he's still attempting to be a congresscritter.  He needs to be replaced with an actual Republican who will vote for the SAVE act.

In fact, anyone not willing to vote yea in favor of the SAVE act needs to be forcibly deported to a shithole country on an airplane that explodes at 35,000 feet.

(Sorry, I'm restraining myself, I actually have stronger feelings about this but I'm being respectful and polite.)

Well they finally announced his death. Id have tgo check the dates to see if they made it past the special session. Of course even if they didn't make the date, that may have been the plan all along, just due to the pressure they had to back off and tell the truth early.

So the governor gets to name his replacement for the rest of his term? Really? What about what the people want. oh ya..

This sounds like a great way to tip the scales, just "off" the entire senate, and the governors get to place their 'buddies' in office, with not even the illusion of peoples chose.  I wonder if the house works the same way.

So some in DC are trying to derail the FBI investigation into Lindsey Graham's death.  "its not needed". That there is cause to suspect more is going on and are trying to cover it up. Its just the way there.

Not going to get into the weeds, but the problems we are seeing with the Republican party splintering, looks like the Democrat part is starting too as well. Should get interesting as election season heats up.  And who knows, if we get lucky, it all falls apart and we get to do a reboot.  Partisan politics is evil. I think i said it before, but George warned us about this. He was right.

Bullshit.  It's not the PARTY that will lose the seat.  They'll elect another Republican.  They'll elect a Republican who will vote to pass the SAVE Act.

That's why they're pretending he's still alive.  It's the unipartyists who want to keep stealing elections.  Bitch BcConnell ran the right flank for them and they can't afford to let him be replaced with someone who will actually represent the will of the people.

Not predicting if a party swap would or would not happen, just that its their concern and dictates their actions.  "Never let one's guard down"

I dont pretend to know what is going on over in that part of the world, but i doubt this goes over well with its citizens:

"Nicaragua’s long-serving president, Daniel Ortega, has said the country will hold no further elections to prevent the opposition from coming to power."

Power hungry *******ers

A bipartisan House bill slated to be introduced on Thursday would give the Department of Homeland Security the authority to order top artificial intelligence firms to shut down or slow AI models that the government deems too dangerous, according to legislative text viewed first by POLITICO.

Soon, they will ban open model access.

Well, this could go really bad.  And yes, i do realize that it is a crime to 'hide a crime' but from what i can tell that isn't the angle they are going on, its solely that he made it possible at all to hide and that was the crime, in effect. If they are successful with that angle...  I also realize its 'news' so its biased, so ill need to find another source of the statements.

TLDR;

"The US Department of Justice is attempting to prosecute an Atlanta resident in connection with the movement against the police training center known as Cop City because he had GrapheneOS on his phone, an open-source operating system that enables users to enter a passcode and wipe a phone clean."

Fauci is a bit player. The central villain in the entire planned emic is Bill Gates. He has harmed billions of people and needs to suffer multiple consecutive death penalties for his crimes against humanity.

Nothing short of shredding Bill Gates in a wood chipper will heal our world.

Oh, wasn't going down the rabbit hole of blame/etc.    Just that its moire circus to distract us.   I saw a image of the "hearing". Behind R Paul a poster of Facui with a bunch of nonsense on it.  ( not saying its content is true or not and i didn't even read it, but testifying in front of congress be a serious event.. not a show )

I think that is one of the biggest issues i have of late, 'political orientation' aside and not even getting into the actual actions. its that no one in DC is taking anything serious. Its all a game from all sides, at our expense, and they are not even pretending anymore.

Wont get into right/wrong since i dont to go there. But.. looks like a new 'right leaning' pseudo-party is brewing ( MTG, Carlson, are at the helm )

But, im sure it will turn out like other attempts, it fractures the republican base and a low support democrat will sneak in to office ( Like when Perot tried it, all he really did was hand the election to  Bill.. )
