hm... I don't get it...
does that guy have a date, and forgot to tell her in advance that he isn't going to pick her up by car but by bike, and she doesn't like it?
Having been up close and personal with a twister before, I can only suspect the video-taker must have consumed mass quantities of valium prior to the event to remain that demeaner.
Interesting that the cell phone worked the whole time.
That was rather interesting...
Maybe not the precise room for this, but I've never seen footage of a
tornado this close to the person filming it. The man is very fortunate
Hey, that was disappointing. I wanted to see the POV shot from when the tornado picked up his vehicle and blew it around before tossing it back down into the Walgreen's parking lot.
"Umm, yeah, I'm still ok, but there's a problem with what I'm driving..."
I can't see that a car flipped over, but it looks like some roofing struck his truck.
He explains why he was there in this video:
Basically, the taking of that video was a kind of accident.
campaign for American Family insurance.
On the snowmobile. Today. 10 July 2011.
And we found snow.
Nice, Animal! When they're out, would love to see some of the finished pics!
on the road again:
me and my roadbike mates yesterday.
yea, Roy should have made some pics of us riding ;-)
but maybe he should have handed the cam over to Rudolf, who would more easily gain some distance to get off the bike and do some descent shots of others climbing hills ;-)
What a sorry bunch you are. :-)
I miss riding in europe, it's much prettier over there.
*giggles* realy liked this sentence:
" I came across two schools of thought: those who ride to eat and those who eat to ride."
I think you got it wrong...
its rather the ones, who like eating, and ride a lot to be able to eat more
and those who like to ride, but need food at some point to have enough power so they eat (or for example dring those high energy fluids which taste like red bull in _real_ sweet) else they would have to stop cycling...
I guess you're rather one of the first (like me ;-)
and a second source:
turn your backpack into a highly visible object
what a cool hack for a short roadbike ride through the pourin rain.
glad to have had a little more sophisticated rainstoppers today though.
