no, we're just here to shed tears about the prosperous past. now and then a script sends some git commit messages so we don't feel so loneley.

I am currently thinking of doing some relocations in the layout of webcit, since in my oppionion, some functions have a too prominent place in the interface, but what do I know, I am only here for a short time. So could you please answer me two questions, please?
- How often do you use the "Set as Homepage" function?
- How often do you use the language selector?
Use something like "never, once a year, every month, often, every other day" as answers, please.

once in a while; its been years now ;-)

Depends on the browser config, and whats to be done.
if the browser locale setting is right, only when I have to find english clickpaths for citadel support; I realy like the ability to switch it back & forth in a session now.
If the browser locale setting is wrong, every login and the above issues.

maybe all of them could go over into the 'edit this meny' gray box? otoh the startpage box currently depends on knowing the room / page which will probably get more complicated in there.

It is, however, the place for a little announcement:
Today I finally activated Citadel's new "guest mode" on Uncensored. This will make things a little more open, similar to most other sites out there, where you don't have to create an account merely to have a look around the place.
This also means that all public rooms are now visible to the search engines, so hopefully that will drive more traffic to the site as people begin to discover our presence (ugh, I hate to use this SEO word) "organically."
I wanted to get the oppinion of the not so tech-savvy users, too, thats why I asked here.
