Bavaria looks very much like the photo of Bavaria I have on my desktop

background.

Too bad it's crawling with Illuminati.

Subject: How smart is your right foot?

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Huh.  How is it that a compendium of geeks don't have a Science room all this time?

How smart is your right foot?

1)While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2) While continuing to make circles with your foot, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand.
3) Your foot will change direction.

Hey Inspector Gadget, do you still by any chance the old logs from back in the 80's of logins? I remember there was a way you could see who had log'd in that day. And i was just curious if you had saved any of those old things like that? I just wanted to see some of the old people I knew from back then.
Anyway. These i7's with this damned microsoft twist on it are full of it.
I think microsoft should be broken up like we did ATT. Death to UEFI and Secured Boot whatever it is! Someone give me a video toaster and an Amiga 2000 with a Warp and i'm good again! :D

I think on a Mac you have to do "telnet -k" to disable their broken kerberos login. Or you can just use ssh ... ssh bbs@uncensored.citadel.org will do it.

Nice to see you back online. Unfortunately I don't have much of anything saved from the formative years. We did have a "call log" command back then.
Nowadays it would just be a lot of noise if we did that, between people staying logged in all the time, and the folks who have IMAP clients checking for mail every couple of minutes, etc.

So whatcha been up to?

You were almost correct:

-K Specifies no automatic login to the remote system.

So, for lazy copy&pasters, the correct command on a Mac is:

telnet -K uncensored.citadel.org

It still seems really odd and busted that Mac telnet tries to do Kerberos by default and you have to turn it off for the 99.9% of telnet servers out there that aren't Kerberized.

or just use openssh, which is part of OS X and works as expected.

Or pip install paramiko and write your own ssh client in Python :-)

No sooner did I get this samsung then I found an acer with backlit keyboard, and touch screen. it's always like that. Going to london and amsterdam to hang out with some friends in a few weeks i think. What have you been doing?
