Everyone I know is fine. For reference, if y'all are worried about me specifically, I live in the city of Modiin, and I almost never leave the city. I work from home, my kids go to daycare/preschool in walking distance, and there's a mall a 5-minute walk away, so I almost never get in a car, much less a bus. I take a train every 2-3 months to take my son to Haifa to the ocularist. That's about the only time I leave town.

israel is a relatively democratic place. You can buy land there if you have money, and if you live in an oil rich country it seems to me you can literaly pump money out of the ground more easily than the US government can print it.
