Thu May 06 2010 09:58:40 AM EDT from IGnatius T Foobar @ UncensoredProvide a clue for us goyim please ... what event is this?
RebbeSoul is a Jewish musition...a cousin of mine, actually...the event was a concert performance.
More information can be found at his web site, with info on upcoming dates at his upcoming link.
Not being in Israel, I obviously can not attend the performances. :-(
Wow...and it wasn't even the middle of the night. Yikes.
I travel along the coast a lot, so I was surprised at how badly I did on this geography quiz.

I'll say that every picture is taken in a coastal town and as one more hint, Jerusalem is not a coastal town.

Here come some demands that Israel end its "occupation of Arab lands."
And who is the angry mullah of the day who's making this statement? Nope ... it's the Vatican.
Never mind that Jesus didn't practice "Christianity" but Judaism. Conveniently, most Christian sects conveniently forget or ignore that fact
The Vatican isn't known for being friendly to the Jewish people.
I suspect the roots of their ire against Jews involve some ancient European anger about having strung up their messiah on a stick.
But then, I suppose, roughly the same ancient people wrote this:
http://www.hymnsandcarolsofchristmas.com/Hymns_and_Carols/adam_lay_ybounden.htm
Just to de-convolute the English there, the song is essentially saying that it's a good thing that Adam ate that apple, as it allowed for Mary to give birth to Jesus (and, by [il]-logical extension, for Jesus to act as an offering to God to forgive man's sins).
Wrap your mind around that nugget if you can. If your mind can take that seriously, you can probably come up with anything with a straight face.
but don't you know that our matzas require the blood of Christian children and we stab your wafers to make them bleed...
(btw, just for the record, matzas containing anything other than water and flour from wheat, oats, spelt, rye, and/or barley cannot be used at the seder. Jews of Eastern descent do eat matzas made with wine or eggs during the rest of the holiday, but not so much with the blood...)
I suspect the roots of their ire against Jews involve some ancient
European anger about having strung up their messiah on a stick.
I'm familiar with that ... my grouchy old Italian grandfather used to refer to Jews as "morta cristo" (Christ killers).
Sounds like revisionist history to me ... I don't know what kind of Bible he was reading, but mine says that Jesus was crucified by Romans. You know, Rome ITALY.
oh please.
Get off you fooking high horse. all countries are made via warfare and conquered lands from someone.
I think the ancient European perspective was more along the lines of the Jews having betrayed Jesus... so even though the Romans crucified him, the Romans washed their hands of the affair (literally), putting it on the Jewish people.
*shrugs*
Be that as it may, it's all pretty silly. And, again, if you could believe the crazy thing I posted earlier, you could probably make yourself believe damn near anything.
The truth about Christmas trees in Bethleham and Nazareth

one could say:
tora = Koran 0.3
Bible = Koran 0.6
Koran = Koran 1.0
but one could also say, I don't give a daim about books that were used to justify murder for centuries.
well, as recently discussed here, you usualy don't become a jew by accident, its mostly a matter of getting maried one to enter judaism. because of that you argualy could call the jews a tribe, in which much genes are shared (which was recently discovered by examination...)
Other examinations show, that another tribe originated in the same area as the jews, called "palestinensians" share a notable amount of genes (more than for example european and asian tribes would) with the jews.
Doubtless Jesus was a Jew. So he most probably was more related to Palestenensians than for example Africans or Asians.
Doubtless he opposed against the jewish & roman establishment, and could at least be called a punk, maybe also a terrorist.
see my point?
