Would you care to share "Outdoor Pursuits" with dogpound2?

Old server's running Fedora 5.

New server's running CentOS 5.6.  I can give 'em a try there, since I don't have anything live running there, yet.

Just need to know...from where would I obtain the RPMs? (I think I missed that somewhere, and didn't notice it on the citadel.org download page yet)

can you please provide the URLs from the OBS-Rpms for those distributions?

Now I'm repackaging it using 7.85 sources

Any chance that you want to use the 7.86 sources that are available?

Interesting...I see in the Fedora 14 dire that you do have 7.86 going...just not in the CentOS dir (x86_64).

Noticed that citadel and webcit aren't in the CentOS5 dir, nor is libical.

I can still build that myself, if that's the course to follow...just need to know.

Also, do I need to install the packages and the devel packages?

could you ask that stefan and ti_eugene in citadel support?

Keep in mind that they are not (yet?) official Citadel RPM's. We would certainly welcome someone maintaining RPM's as diligently as dothebart mas maintained the .deb packages.

Over the last couple of months I've been brainstorming some ideas on how we can make the network architecture more dynamic, allowing nodes to join and resign at any time without any manual configuration required.

What about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeroconf ?

Zeroconf is intended for local area networks.

Matt @ Comalies

Any idea why your system has had 2 continuous connections to my BBS for nearly 6 days?

I should note...the only nodes that I now have a sharing relationship with appear to be:

haven
uncnsrd
comalies
enterprise

Wow...how the list has shrunk over the years.

Does anyone know what happened to Heretic Flambe?  It appears that I've not been able to connect to it for nearly a year, so I'm going to pull the plug on its network connection, unless someone has a line to the owner and can get hold of them.

Interesting. Will there be, however, a method by which we can restrict such activity?

i.e. it may be necessary to block a site from networking with mine...not that we have anyone in our community that would require such action, but just saying... ;-)
