I don't play field sports, I don't ski, but I'd like to be able to get back on my bicycle or putter around the yard with a chainsaw without feeling like I'm going to injure myself again.
When did the syndesmotic screws come out?

Don't know, we haven't been on speaking terms since 2004-2005. She wanted a clean break. She got it. *shrug*
Gotta be careful what we ask for sometimes. Her loss. ;-)
@IGgy, Yeah, I know the feeling. When they readjusted my left knee in 1998, I was supposed to do both of them...but it was such an awful recovery I never went back. It still aches when it's cold, hot, or wet...and I can't kneel thanks to screws and scar tissue. One thing I'd recommend watching for is ongoing hip or back pain. With the ACL repair and move of the kneecap, my leg apparently shortened by some infintisimal amount that they have difficulty quantifyin....but enough to through my left hip out of alignment from my right. But the rest of it did eventually get better. Just took a really long time.
@LH: maybe, maybe not. She had some physical health issues. Might have needed someone who was a bit more willing to take care of her. It was starting to seem like a bit more than I'd signed up for.
@LS: That happens sometimes. It's not just the people that have to be compatible - circumstances play a huge role, too....for bad or good.
I would be very grateful if someone would invent/develop Rednax.
RE: Cheese & Eggs...
There's conflicting information on this, but some of it might simply be old.
I haven't really stopped eating cheese with my meals, just careful about not consuming much of it. The eggs are a tad more worrisome to me, though, but if I were safe to eat them with avocado, I think breakfast might be more entertaining than just oatmeal.
Not that my oatmeal is terrible... mix in some applesauce, sliced almonds, flax seeds, and blueberries, and it's both healthy and tasty.
I hope your knees have been recovering well, though.
Anyone try quip?
Yes, the toothbrush, and girthta and I have one. Each.
Oh, that's a neat idea.
The Tandem Toothbrush. Both you and your partner can brush your teeth together with an intimacy altogether lacking in today's oh-so-busy world.
You can take care of all your tandem bathroom needs.
I resisted viewing that JPEG until now.
That image isn't as terrible as my imagination.
Which makes me wonder if I'm perhaps badly damaged in a special way.
Fleeb, you say that as if it's a bad thing....or a new thing, for that matter. :-)
