Subject: Re: Citadel Calendar/Scheduling
Notifying users could be an issue depending on what actions need to be performed.
You should be able to schedule each desk shift as an event on that calendar and simply name the person responsible for the shift as an attendee. They will receive the invitation and can add it to their personal calendar. My guess is that if they respond to it, the reply will go to the person who created the event rather than the room, which is probably not the desired behavior.
Subject: https://webcit in Ubuntu precise amd64 result = "not found"
Hello, to everybody!
I have got to know Citadel about a German forum for Ubuntu. The forum had an article for the installation of Citadel. After their instructions I have installed the following Ubuntu/Debian-Packete:
-
citadel-server (universe)
-
citadel-mta (universe, Mail Transport Agent)
-
citadel-webcit (universe, Weboberfläche)
Because I, besides, on the same server still among other things apache2 run has, I have changed the ports with Citadel during the installation of course. After him the installation is concluded, I can call about my domain for my server the Citadel login interface leads. If I put before the address, however, "https://" only the simple text "not found" comes back!
By the way, I have for the domain a registered certificate that I allow to consider in mine apache2. So it would be to be made accessible maybe better webcit about mine apache2? To do attempts this, however, missed. One give no DocumentRoot for webcit? However, I would like to create none specially top level domain for Citadel, but be of use Citadel about my present domain. However, I have read with apache2 only just one is possible vHost with SSL. How do I insert there the consideration for citadel? "Alias" is not possible, because webcit from apache2 from not about DocumentRoot can be called, but only about/etc/citadel/webcit.conf.
Hallo an alle!
Ich habe Citadel über ein deutsches Forum für Ubuntu kennen gelernt. Das Forum hatte einen Artikel für die Installation von Citadel. Nach deren Anleitung habe ich folgende Ubuntu/Debian-Packete installiert:
-
citadel-server (universe)
-
citadel-mta (universe, Mail Transport Agent)
-

can you enable logging of the SMTP client in webcit, and post theI have enabled smtpeventclient under "Temporarily enable debug logging

for components" and this is what I get in mail.log:
[...]

connecting to altum.de [82.165.78.71]:0 ...
this one also sends mails out via this smarthost without problems.
which is the domain part of the email address I use to log into the
ISP's SMTP server (smtp.1und1.de).
So it really seems that Citadel 8.11 takes the first "@" as the relevant
separator between login data and host data, while 7.86 correctly
separates at the second "@" of the login string, which in my case has
the form:
email_address:password@hostname:port

please have a look at:
http://citadel.org/doku.php?do=search&id=apache
and
http://citadel.org/doku.php?do=search&id=certificate
if you still miss informations in these faqs, please tell us what you're missing in them.
In general citadel.org can just offer a short extract from the original apache documentation; http://httpd.apache.org should have more detailed descriptions on howto research problems with it and solving it.

please try it like that:
email_address%64somedomain:password@hostname:port
Subject: Re: [Citadel Support] Re: Problem sending mail via smarthost
please try it like that:Replaced "@" with "%64". Now I see in the log that Citadel is connecting
email_address%64somedomain:password@hostname:port
to the correct smart host, but get's an "Authentication failure" (I've
also double checked the correctness of the data).
Oh, and, opposed to the former case, the outgoing mail is _not_ kept in
the SMTP spoolout.

It is better right one Mirror to integrate than to fish necessary packages even out and to check laboriously for updates of the used packages over and over again! But to a Mirror there should be because of the security always a key. I do not know this key for my called Mirror.

I think this is rather read and I have accidentally selected the wrong post for a reply. In my pre-set problem, it was felt that there is a solved problem, which was fixed in a new version of Citadel. However, not included in the Ubuntu mirror, but only on a foreign source. Debian packages for Ubuntu are alternative. Ubuntu packages for Ubuntu are better.
I just wanted to now the Sicherheitskey the Mirror http://debian.netcologne.de/ubuntu/
